Introduction

From Ricki Heller's book Sweet Freedome. The original recipe can be gluten free and calls for Sucanat granulated sugar. I use 2/3 agave syrup instead and add 1/4 of flour. I also usually use black beans. From Ricki Heller's book Sweet Freedome. The original recipe can be gluten free and calls for Sucanat granulated sugar. Ingredients

2 cups navy white bean, cooked
    2 tbsp Tahini
1/2 cup Vanilla Almond Milk Unsweetened
    1/3 cup Sunflower Oil
    2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Soy Sauce
    1 cup Sugar
    1/4 cup Maple Syrup
    1/2 cup Flour, white
1/2 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    1.5 tsp Baking Powder
    1.5 tsp Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/2 cup Chocolate chips

Tips

Canned beans are fine but should be well rinsed. To be truly vegan, use dairy free chocolate, sugar, etc.

Directions

Preheat oven at 350 F. Line 9 inch square pan with parchment paper.

Blend beams and milk alternative until completely smooth. Add the tahini, oil, ground chia seeds, vanilla, soy sauce, sugar, and maple syrup. Blend until it is a perfectly smooth velvety puree.

In a large bowl, sift together the remaining dry ingredients. Pour wet ingredients on top of the dry and mix together with the chocolate chips.

Pour mixture into the lined pan, and bake for 55-60 minutes. Wait till they cook before cutting.
