    2 tsp Olive Oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 onion, coarsly chopped
    2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 cans fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
    2 ounces cooked ham, cut into slivers
    1/2 cup sliced green onions
    1 Tbs reduced-sodium soy sauce
    1 Tbs dry sherry
    1 Tbs cornstarch


1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium high heat until hot. Add chopped onion and garlic; cook 1 minute. Add mushrooms; cook 4 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, simmer covered, 15 minutes.

3. Stir in ham and green onions. Cook through. Blend soy sauce and sherry into cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth; stir into soup. Cook 2 minutes or until soup is thickened, stirring occainsionally.
