Introduction
This is my great-grandma's recipe. She used black walnuts, but I prefer pecans. I also sometimes add chocolate chips. I usually use half white and half whole wheat flour (I guess she probably used white) but I sometimes use all whole wheat and it's a bit coarser texture, but still yummy. Ingredients

2 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) Banana, fresh
0.5 cup Butter, salted
1 cup Granulated Sugar
3 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1 serving Lemon juice - of half lemon, 1 Tablspoon (Atkins)
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup King Arthur 100% Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup Organic All-Purpose White Flour
0.75 cup, chopped Pecans
0.5 tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt (Evolution Salt Co) (by TAMMAGDALENO)
Directions
Mash bananas on a plate with a fork. Cream butter (softened) and sugar. Combine all ingredients and stir just until well mixed. Pour into greased, floured loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees F about 75 minutes, or until browned on top, cracks on top look dry, and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
