Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    5 serving Beef - Stew Meat - Cubed - 4 oz raw (by TIGERBABY27)
    16 oz Baby Carrots
    680 grams Potato, raw
2.5 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables (FMV brand), carrots, corn, green beans, green peas
12 oz Alcohol, Wine Red (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon)
8 tbsp Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix (One Package = 8 Tablespoons) (by LIFENPROGRESS)
1 cup Swanson Tuscan Chicken Flavor Infused Broth (by LUVLIGHT57)
    2 tbsp Butter, salted
    1 cup, diced Celery, raw

Tips

I may get some gravy mix to add for flavor and to thicken the broth, or just leave it as soup. guessing at the time for the crockpot, since I let it cook overnight

Directions

brown beef in butter. peel and cube potatoes, I used 3 medium. spray slow cooker with Pam, dump 1lb bag baby carrots in the bottom, add potatoes and celery, dump in mixed veggies. top with browned beef. sprinkle soup mix over beef, add the wine and chicken broth (using up leftovers of both liquids). I let it cook overnight on low.

  • I used a broth to substitute for the wine, since I don't have any. Changed the taste some, I'm sure, but still good. - 12/6/20
