Introduction

Basic meatloaf recipe for either one large meatloaf or 8 mini meatloaves for freezing. Basic meatloaf recipe for either one large meatloaf or 8 mini meatloaves for freezing.

Ingredients

    3 pounds Beef, Ground Beef 85/15
    1.5 cup Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    2 stalk, celery, raw
    3 large Egg
    1/2 cup Ketchup

    Recommended seasonings not included in nutrition value
    Salt
    Pepper
    Onion Powder
    Garlic Powder

Directions

1. Chop onion and celery into small cubes.
2. Sautee onions and celery until soft.
3. Mix all ingredients except ketchup and season to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder recommended.)
4. Free form large log on baking sheet or make 8 mini meatloaves for freezing.
5. Bake at 350 for large meatloaf for 1.5 hours and check. If internal temperature is 160 then cover in ketchup and bake an additional 15 minutes. If not continue to check every 15 minutes until done. For mini meatloaves, remove from freezer and thaw for 24 hours. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, coat with ketchup and bake an additional 10 minutes.
