Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Whole Grain oatmeal, 3 cups
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Brown Sugar, 3 tsp packed
    Granulated Sugar, 3 tsp
    Salt, 2 dashes
    Raisins, .5 cups, packed
    Water, tap, 5 cups
    Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    Milk, nonfat, .25 cup

Directions

*Bring water and salt to a slow boil.
*Add oatmeal (whole oats, not quick oats).
*Add raisins.
*Allow to cook for 3 minutes.
*Turn off stove and stir oats.
*Add both sugars, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
*Stir gently until sugars are mixed in well.
*Cover and let sit until raisins are plump, about 4 minutes.
*Place 1 cup oatmeanl in cereal bowl and add milk.
*ENJOY!

We use this as a breakfast entree', a treat, or a diversion when craving chocolate. Works like a charm!
