    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    2 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
    6 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    2 cup Milk, 1%
    1 tsp Salt
    1.5 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    7 tbsp Canola Oil
    1.5 fl oz Water, tap
    0.25 tsp Nutmeg, ground


Sprinkle onions with salt and set aside. Reserve 1 tbsp oil in skillet. Stir remaining 6 tbsp oil, water and flour together in a bowl until a ball of dough forms. Roll out dough between sheets of plastic wrap to fit 9-10” quiche pan. Fit dough into quiche pan. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Heat oil on medium heat in skillet. Sauté onions until tender and translucent but not brown. Spread over crust I’m pan. Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Beat eggs and milk with a whisk and pour over cheese and onions. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown and a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15-20 minutes on wire rack before cutting into wedges. Makes 8 servings.
