Introduction

When I gave up canned soups, I also quit tuna casserole. And chicken casserole too. I like this much better, but my tastebuds have changed since the old days. Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    Precook 2 oz Barilla whole wheat spaghetti or use leftovers
    Add 170 gram Butternut Squash precut in thin strips
    Chop 0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    Mix these together in a late bowl.

    In a separate, oiled or sprayed casserole dish, precook washed and trimmed 170 Grams Asparagus, fresh for 2 minutes on high in the microwave. They should still be green.

    Drain 2 cans or 8 oz solid white albacore tuna. Mix this and
    3 Serving(s) tsp of Zaatar into the mixing bowl.
    Evenly distribute this mix over the asparagus base.

    Sprinkle 3 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, over the top, then sprinkle 0.5 Serving(s) Cayenne pepper to lightly give a red tint to the cheese.

    Pop into a 350F preheated oven for 30 minutes until heated through and the crust is a little crunchy.

    Serve with 1T sour cream for extra richness.
