A jam that has less sugar than the recipe called for. A jam that has less sugar than the recipe called for.
Number of Servings: 100


    1 package of pectin
    7 cups of sliced strawberries
    3 Tbs. lemon juice
    6 Cups of sugar


Crush the strawberries and boil them with the pectin and lemon juice. When you have a rolling boil, add the sugar all at once. Boil vigorously until the jam drips off a spoon in single drops. The drops should pull together before falling. This might take several minutes. Pack in sterile jars according to manufactures' instructions.

Makes around eight to ten cups of jam.
