Introduction

It is so simple to make and requires five simple ingredients, which you probably already have on hand. It is so simple to make and requires five simple ingredients, which you probably already have on hand.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

5 sweetpotato, 5" long Sweet potato
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
8 serving Kirkland Bacon Thick Sliced Center Cut Hickory Smoked (1 slice)
8 tbsp Maple Grove Farms 100% Pure Maple Syrup
    1 tsp Pepper, black

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spread potatoes out in an even layer. You can also lightly spray the aluminum foil with a little non-stick cooking spray if you desire.

Step 3: Drizzle olive oil over potatoes. We recommend using olive oil or coconut oil for this.

Step 4: Place in oven and and bake for 40 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through for best results.

Step 5: While the potatoes are cooking, cook bacon in a pan until you reach desired doneness. I like my bacon crunchy, but my husband loves his chewy.

Step 6: Sprinkle bacon with fresh cracked pepper and cut into small pieces.

Step 7: Once the potatoes are done baking, place the sweet potatoes and bacon in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.

Step 8: Pour maple syrup over potatoes and bacon and stir gently until well combined.

Step 9: Serve immediately.
