    2 pats butter
    5 slices large red onion
    1 tsp pepper (or to taste)
    12 oz extra lean deli pastrami
    1 bag shredded cabbage (for cole slaw)


Melt butter in 12-15" skillet (that has a lid)
Saute' onions in butter until they start to soften over medium heat
Slice Pastrami into strips, add to pan, cover for a couple minutes
Add 1/2 pepper, all cabbage, remaining pepper.
Cover, cook 8 minutes - stir 1/2 way through.
Makes 5 servings
