    3 cup All-purpose Flour
    4.5 tsp Baking Powder
    1.5 tsp Salt
    1/2 C Vegetable Shortening (Crisco), cubed


If your food processor hold 4 cups or less, consider halving the recipe. While I chose side dish, this is really and ingredient for other recipes.


1. Add the flour, baking powder and salt to the bowl of a large food processor.
2. Pulse ingredients for about 15 seconds.
3. Add in the vegetable shortening (Crisco) and pulse the processor until the mixture resembles cornmeal.
4. Place the homemade Bisquick in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

Serving Size: Makes 4.5 1-cup servings
