Introduction

Ingredients

    4 serving cassava 1 cup
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    2 cup Flour, white
    1 dash Salt
    3 tsp packed Brown Sugar
    4 clove Garlic
    1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh
    2 tbsp Basil
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/3 cup butter

Directions

1. grater cassava and squeeze out excess milk.
2. Mix together 1 2/3 cup of flour and salt and the egg to cassava.
3. On a clean surface, sprinkle flour and knead the dough mixture.
4. Take a handful and roll into a string then cut into little squares.
5. Slice thinly onions, mushroom, and fresh basil.
6. In a frying pan, heat olive oil and then add the cut dough pieces.
7. Pan sear on each side until light brown about 3-4 minutes. Then remove from pan.
8. In pan add butter, brown sugar, garlic, and basil and let simmer on low for 3 minutes.
9. Add onions, mushroom, and gnocchi.
10. Mix and let simmer on medium for 5 minutes.
11. Serve immediately.
