Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    3 tablespoons all purpose flour
    2 cups half-and-half
    1 cup 2 % milk
    4.33 lb Gorgonzola Dolce Creamy (about 6.8 oz ), cubed
    2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
    to taste - salt

Directions

Melt butter in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. When the butter starts to sizzle, add the flour and whisk until smooth, about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk. Bring the sauce to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes, whisking constantly until slightly thickened.
Add the Gorgonzola and stir until melted.
Add Pepper and season the sauce to taste w/salt
(no salt was used in nutrional information )
Set aside and cover until pasta is ready to recieve.
Serves 6-8 using 16 oz ( box) pasta and is best with Farfalle, Orecchiette or tubular type of pastas
