Ingredients

    16 oz prepared pizza dough
    3.5 oz whole milk mozzarella, cubed or perle size
    1 cup cherry tomatoes
    1.5 tbsp olive oil
    1 turkey italian sausage link, crumbled and cooked
    dried oregano

Directions

Toss together tomatoes, oregano to taste and olive oil. Place in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until tomatoes are fire roasted. Puree or pulse until slightly chunky.

Increase oven temperature to 450F degrees. Roll out pizza dough and place on pizza stone or prepared pan dusted with bread crumbs or flour. Spread tomato puree evenly over dough (it will be a thin layer). Top with mozzarella and sprinkle with additional oregano to cover the sauce and cheese. Evenly distribute cooked turkey sausage.

Cook in 450 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.

Makes 6- large slices.
