A great marinade for country style ribs A great marinade for country style ribs
Number of Servings: 6


    4lbs spare ribs
    8oz (2 jars) peach babyfood
    .5 c brown sugar, firmly packed
    .33 c. ketchup
    .33 vinegar (i used cider vinegar)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp soy sauce (I use low sodium)
    1 Tbsp fresh ginger, chopped


Place ribs in a large pot and fill with water. Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40-50 minutes. Drain ribs and place in a large shallow container (i.e. a 9x13 pan)

Combine remaining ingredients and blend, using a food processor or a blender. Pour over ribs.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, turning once.

Remove ribs from marinade, reserving juice. Grill over coals until desired degree of doneness. Turn and baste frequently with marinade.
