    5 eggs
    2 c milk
    1 c flour
    1 c colby jack cheese, shredded, split into 2 parts
    8 oz smoked sausage, chopped into mini bite-sized pieces
    1/2 c chopped onion
    salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste


Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 9inch pie plate with Pam. Combine eggs, milk, flour, and seasoning in a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes OR until slightly fluffy/bubbly. Toss in onions, sausage, and half of the cheese and stir thoroughly with a spoon. Pour mixture into pie plate. Bake for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and return to bake for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is as melty and crusty as you prefer.

You may need to adjust your cooking time, so start keeping an eye on it about 20 minutes into the baking process. The quiche is done when the middle is slightly "shakey".

Enjoy! Adding a heaping tablespoon of chunky salsa makes this dish just that much better, too!
