    *Egg white, 4 serving
    Spinach, fresh, .
    Mushrooms, fresh,
    Red Ripe Tomatoes,
    Green Peppers (bell peppers),
    Onions, raw, 1 slice, thin

    veggies should equal 1/2 cup


Put 4 egg whites and 1/2 cup of veggies in ziploc bag. Put in boiling water for 15 minutes.

    Well sugars i didnt think about the number of characters..
    I loved the idea of this recipe but checked around on the internet and I found this page. Ziploc bags are NOT for cooking in.

    There is some evidence to suggest that processing for an overly long time or processing at overly HIGH temperatures may cause general respiratory irritation in some persons.

  • I love this recipe! I like to chop everything for 4 servings, put each serving in a separate bag, set the timer, and prepare something else while the omelet cooks. It makes easy clean-up and stoage, too! - 2/4/10
