Ingredients

    Lentils, 3.5 cup dried
    Turkey patties, fried, 2 medium slice (approx 3" x 2" x 1/4"
    Onions, raw, 1 large chopped
    Peppers, sweet, red, raw, chopped 1 cup
    *Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce (Garlic&Herb)1.5 cup
    spice island crushed red pepper, 1/2 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    fennel seed, 1/2 tsp
    Chili powder, 3 tbsp or more to taaste
    black pepper, 1/8 tsp
    Sweet Corn, Fresh, 1/2 cup
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)


Directions

makes 11 1 cup servings

cook lentils according to pakage directions.
Drain and set aside.

in seperate pan:

brown crumbled turkey patties with onion and red peppers.

add spaghetti sauce and spices
add 2 cups of water
simmer med heat for 5 min

combine lentils with sauce and add corn
simmer another 5 min, then ready to eat.

serve over rice.

optional top with a slice of fat free cheese
