I cooked the chicken breasts in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes. They are much juicier that way and I could use spray olive oil for fewer calories. It takes a bit longer but there is much less actual time tending to cooking in the kitchen by cooking them in the oven. Then I made the glaze - 10/1/09

Absolutely fantastic. :) I'm going to make this for LOTS of my friends/family. (lol). Since I didn't have any balsamic vinegar I used 1.5 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce. It came out fabulous! I served mine over Long grain and Wild Rice (instant). :) - 8/8/09

very simple and very good, the flavor combination is wonderful - I used fresh thyme and served it with white rice. Next time I'll double the glaze and make id more "saucy". - 7/23/09

I loved it! I baked mine at 350 for about 25-30 minutes, but brushed some glaze on after 20 or so minutes. I also added Worcheshire sauce and a dash of red wine vinegar since it was a tad sweet for me. I loved it though. With the extra stuff, the glaze tasted like Jack Daniels Sauce from TGIF! - 4/13/10

Just made this recipe tonight for the first time, and it was really good. I had it with white rice and mixed veggies. As a personal preference, though, I think next time I'll use a little more honey and a little less balsamic vinegar. - 10/21/09

This recipe is awesome!!! It was super easy, and delicious - the 2 things I was looking for! I made it exactly as written, and the only thing I'd change next time is to make a little more glaze. This is a supper I can pull together at the last minute, but isn't boring. Thank you for posting! - 3/10/12

  • This is ACES! I confess that I "chickened" out when dumping in the vinegar and honey mixture - was sure that I had scorched it from too hot of a pan. So, pulled pan from heat and didn't keep stirring long enough, so had a couple of cooked honey lumps. Still, tasty! Will hang in there next time. - 7/21/15

  • Not bad but the glaze had a bit of an odd taste to me! It may have been the balsamic vinegar I used (bargain brand) or the honey (which was grainy). I think I also overdid the thyme. I may try it again with a few adjustments but overall it was good! - 2/12/14

  • I've tried this both on the stovetop and in the oven. The oven definitely results in a jucier breast. I baked it in the sauce, so it didn't get too glaze-y. Next time I want to try adding some slices of onion on top of the chicken, then pouring the glaze over it all. - 1/8/14
