    1-1/2 qt. canned peaches
    2 T. butter
    1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 cup sugar
    1-1/2 T. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup milk


Place butter into 9'x13" baking pan. Place into 375 degree oven until butter is melted and hot.
Drain peaches reserving juice. Slice peaches and place in butter. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk until smooth. Pour evenly over peaches in pan. Pour reserved peach juice over batter. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
