Introduction
Easy whole wheat basic recipe for muffins or simple bread. Can easily be adjusted to fit your needs (i.e., adding spices or fruit of your choice). Ingredients

2 c - Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 c - Granulated Sugar
3 tsp - Baking Powder
1 tsp - Salt
1 tsp - Cinammon
3/4 c - Nonfat Milk
1/2 c - Canola Oil (or Applesauce)
1 Egg
1/4 c - Slivered Almonds
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bread pan (with a canola spray).
2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinammon in a large bowl.
3. Blend the milk, canola oil, and egg in a medium bowl.
4. Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until well blended (but do not stir too much).
5. Gently blend the almonds into the mixture.
6. Pour the mixture into your bread pan.
7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 12 servings.
