    dates 120g
    candied red&green cherries 8oz
    candied mixed peel 8oz
    canned milk 1.5c
    lemon juice 2t
    flour 3c
    baking powder 2t
    brown sugar 1c
    white sugar 1c
    eggs 2
    salt dash
    vanilla extract 1t


cream margarine & sugar add 1 egg at a time
mix dry ingredients &beat in a little at a time
add milk
fold in fruit
place in greased and floured loaf pans
bake at 350 21/2 hours or until golden brown
