Introduction

This side dish is great instead of rice... it's low in carbohydrate and calories... and it tastes great. This side dish is great instead of rice... it's low in carbohydrate and calories... and it tastes great.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients


    * Cauliflower, raw, 4 cup, grated
    * Onions, raw, 1 small , chopped
    * Garlic, 1 clove, minced
    * Egg, fresh, 1 jumbo
    * Soy Sauce, 3 tbsp
    * Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    * 3 oz Pork,chicken, ham, shrimp and turkey
    ( your choice)

Directions

1. In a large skillet cook onions and garlic in oil for 1 minute.

2. Add cauliflower cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Add soy, ginger, and meat or shrimp and drown.

4. Push mixture to one side in skillet and add beaten egg and cook.

5. Stir egg into mix well and serve.

6. Optional... you can also add 1 cup of peas to give it a nice flavor and richness to the dish.

makes 4 -1 cup servings.

  • This is very good. I have made one similar to this and will try your recipe. FYI Fuzzybug..........the grated cauliflower takes the place of rice thereby making this a low carb dish. :-) - 1/31/11

  • Where is the rice? Is it not supposed to have rice? I am so confused. Sounds good though. - 9/21/08
