A healthy and tasty meatloaf. Come on now, if my husband likes it, it must be good! A healthy and tasty meatloaf. Come on now, if my husband likes it, it must be good!
Number of Servings: 4


    3/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
    1/2 cup Skim Milk
    2 Egg Whites
    4 tbs. Hickory BBQ Sauce
    2 tbs Garlic or Garlic Powder (or to taste)
    2 tbs. BBQ Seasoning (any kind)
    pepper to taste
    1.25 pounds Extra Lean Ground Turkey


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine oats and milk. Let sit for 3 min. or until oats are soft. Add remaining ingredients, leaving 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce for glaze. Mix WELL. Form into loaf on a baking sheet. (note: turkey is less firm than beef making the "loaf" more spread out) Spread remaining sauce on top and sides. Bake for 30 min. or until internal temp. reaches 165 degrees. Let sit for 5 min. Cut into 8 slices.

Makes 4- 2 slice servings

Please note!: Be careful of cooking time. Use internal temp. to insure proper cooking time. May require different time.
