    12 oz ground beef, browned and drained
    1 cup dry rice
    1/2 c chopped onion
    1 can cream of celery or mushroom
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    1 t garlic powder
    1 t curry powder
    salt and pepper
    1 cup grated cheese


Cook rice according to pkg directions. Brown the beef with onions. Rinse and drain. In a casserole, combine rice, meat, soup and seasonings. Mix in cheese or melt on top.

Serve with green beans.
