    1 onion chopped
    1 Can/Tin of chopped tomatoes
    8oz of ground lean beef
    1 beef stock cube or 1cup of home made beef stock
    1/2 tsp of italian mixed herbs
    1/4 tsp of chilli flakes


Using a large pan put water on the heat to cook the pasta.
use half the chopped onion and mix with the ground beef.
take 1tbspn of mixture and roll into balls.
gently fry the balls until browned.
Meanwhile soften the rest of the onion in a non stick frying pan.
Add the chopped tomatoes, herbs and stock, heat until bubbling.
drain the cooked meatballs and add to the sauce, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add the dried pasta to the water and cook using the packet instructions.
Place cooked pasta in bowls and serve the meatballs and sauce on top.
