    4 Duck legs with skin
    2 Medium Onions, raw and sliced
    2 Medium Carrots, raw and sliced
    Tin Tomatoes with Basil, Oregano & Garlic
    1 tsp Rosemary, dried
    1 cup (8fl oz) Water


Heat a deep skillet, dried fry the duck legs with skin until golden, then place in the slow cookder.

In the skillet gently sauté the Onions and Carrots until just brown add to the slow cooker. Add the tinned Tomatoes, water and dried Rosemary.

Put a lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours. Remove duck legs and remove all the meat, serve with fresh vegetables and boiled potatoes or rice.

  • The calries for the duck is before cooking. He deep fried the legs with skin on and doesnt account for frying. Also, 13 calories for "tomato" product...not correct. - 5/26/12

  • I found the duck needed to be in there a lot longer then 4 hours to become really nice and tender. I had planned to have it for lunch but we ended up eating it for dinner. i changed the carrots for runner beans out of my garden. The duck too was ours, we keep the females and eat the males. lovely. - 10/3/10
