Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pound pkg. Hillshire Farms Turkey Smoked Sausage, sliced
    3 large potatoes, washed and diced small
    5 large stalks of Celery, sliced
    1 lg. Onion, sliced
    6 cups 99% fat free chicken broth
    16 oz bag of frozen Peas
    1 tsp salt (less if desired)
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Slice celery and onions and sweat them in the oil and butter in a dutch oven or large stock pan. Add salt and pepper.

Wash and dice unpeeled potatoes. Add to pan with about 6 cups broth and enough water to fill the pan about 3/4 full.

Slice and add sausage to the pan. Cook until veggies are done.

Makes at least 12 cups of soup.
