Introduction

Melt butter in a skillet and brown chicken breasts. Drain juices from cherries and pineapple into a mixing bowl. Reserve the fruit and add sherry, soy sauce, garlic and ginger to the juices. Stir to blend. Pour juice mixture over chicken. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Remove chicken to warm serving dish and keep hot. Combine cherries, pineapple, celery, and red pepper in the pan. Dissolve cornstarch in the water and stir into pan. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Pour over chicken Melt butter in a skillet and brown chicken breasts.     8 oz crushed pineapple
    1/4 Cup dry cherry
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 clove garlic or 1 tsp minced garlic
    1 Tbsp ground ginger
    1 cup sliced celery
    1/2 cup red bell pepper cut in chunks
    1 Tbsp cornstarch
    1/4 cup water
