Ingredients

    5 cups of cabbage
    2 cups of French Style Green Beans
    1 cup carrots
    1 cup of turnip
    1 cup corn
    1/2 cup uncooked barley
    1 lbs/16 oz of Stewing Beef lean cut
    1 lg onion
    1 can Tomato Soup
    10 cups of water
    1 tsb of salt
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Brown meat with onions add vegetables all but the corn, add barley and water cook simmer for an 45 to 1 hr then add corn and tomato soup let simmer for a few minutes and serve.
Makes either 18 1-cup serving or 9 2-cup serving
