    4 medium apples, cored
    1 cup raisins
    4 tsp. brown sugar
    1/2 cup apple juice


Makes 4 stuffed apples.

Core each apple and place in crock pot. Pour 1/2 cup apple juice over apples.

Place 1/4 cup raisins in each apple. Top each apple with 1 tsp. brown sugar.

Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 - 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.

This recipe can be adapted by using or substituting dried cranberries, walnuts, pecans, caramel candies, etc. in the apples!

  • I love using my crock pot and have multiple ones to fix the whole meal. I think this sound delicious and will definately try it very soon. Will use dried cranberries to emphasize the fall season. - 11/6/08
