When I make this recipe, I use two cans of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom. Then I add two pints of fresh Pico de Gallo along with the chunky salsa. To top it off we throw in a bag of frozen corn about one hour before its done. Serve with rice, beans and corn bread. Delicious. - 6/8/12

I made this last night with fresh chicken, only had to cook it on low for 5 hours. It was delicious. I didn't stir the sour cream in until I was ready to eat it, as it was a batch meal for lunches all week. Re-heated it this afternoon, stirred in sour cream, perfect. This is a keeper. Thanks! - 1/10/11

I was not sure about this but we all loved it over brownrice. I live abroad so I didn't use a package of taco seasoning or the soup, but subbed in various herbs and spices and some low fat cream + chicken stock cube. Worked really well. Added some spinach at the end and wilted it into the sauce. Yum - 11/21/17

This is wonderful. Even my two kids loved it and they are fussy eaters. Next time I am going to use a bit less of the taco packet as that seemed a bit too much and double it to freeze some. Hope it freezes well. I served it over brown rice with a side salad. Cooked on low for 6 to 7 hours. - 3/29/10
