A "cheaper" version of pepper steak that tastes like comfort food. A "cheaper" version of pepper steak that tastes like comfort food.
Number of Servings: 12


    2 cups chopped green pepper
    2 chopped ripe tomatos
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 pounds lean ground beef
    2 cups beef broth, consomme, or boullion
    1/4 cup soy sauce Lite
    2 cups instant rice


Brown the ground beef, drain
Saute green pepper and onion
Add Soy Sauce, broth and rice
Place hamburger on top of mixture and boil for 10 minutes (or turn off the heat depending on the rice you use).
