    8 cups cubed peeled squash (butternut, delicata or acorn works)
    6 peeled cored diced apples (granny smith or macs)
    6 cups chicken broth (vegetable works also)
    3 cups chopped peeled carrots
    3 med onions peeled and chopped
    Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste


Into a crock pot peel and cube squash, peel and cube apples, chop carrots and onion pour broth over it. Simmer on low for 5-8 hours or high 4-6 hours or till squash is tender. Puree soup in blender or food processor till fairly smooth. Add spices to taste Serve hot
