    2 cups boneless chicken breasts (cooked and chopped)
    1 cup onion (chopped finely)
    3/4 cup of carrots (chopped finely)
    1/2 cup celery (chopped)
    1 qt. water
    2 cans of chicken broth

    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash thyme/ dash sage
    1 tsp. butter or margerine

    2 cups Bisquick mix
    2/3 cup lowfat Milk


sautee all vegetables in large dutch oven pan in butter. Add the chicken, stock, water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Mix the Bisquick with the milk in a bowl. Drop by spoonfuls over the boiling chicken mixture. Lower heat on stove to Med. and cook for 10 minutes. Then lower heat to low and cook about another 10 minutes. Dumplings should start to be somewhat firm on the top of pan. Can also cook some egg noodles on the side and pour the mixture over those if you like.
5-6 1cup servings.
