    Kale, 4 cup, chopped
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) , chopped
    *Potato, raw, 3 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.), diced
    Carrots, raw, 2 medium, sliced
    Pepper, red crushed, 3 tbsp
    Choricp, 2 sticks
    Beans, red kidney, 2 cup, one can


Makes 8 1.5-cup servings. Add all ingredients to crockpot, cover with water, done when cabbage and potatoes are cooked.

Leave out the chorico to make vegetarian or to lose additional calories. For a more stocky flavor cook 1 cup of split peas for 2 hours in 2 cups of water beforehand then add other ingredients and cook as listed. Enjoy!
