Ingredients

    2 cups potatoes, diced
    2 cups carrots, diced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    3/4 cup butter
    3/4 cup flour
    2 cups 1 % milk
    2 cups fat free half and half
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 tsp. splenda
    2 cans clams, chopped or minced

Directions

Cook potatoes, carrots and pepper in water and the drained clam juice until tender. While that is cooking, melt butter in another large pan, add flour and mix together. Add milk, 1/2 and 1/2, and cook until think then add clams, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes do not boil. Serve! Makes 8 servings
