Introduction

Served to my husband in a restaurant. He liked it so much I recreated the recipe at home. Served to my husband in a restaurant. He liked it so much I recreated the recipe at home.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 medium rutabaga peeled and diced
    1 chicken boullion cube and 1 c water
    3 medium potatoes scrubbed, skins on
    1/4 c nonfat milk
    1 tsp butter
    dash black pepper

Directions

Combine water, boullion cube, and diced rutabaga in medium saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until soft, 20 minutes.
Bake potatoes in microwave. When cool enough to handle, remove skins, cut up and add to rutabaga with butter and black pepper. Whip with mixer and add enough milk to reach proper consistency.
Makes approx 6 servings, 1/2 c each.
