Introduction

Excellent for cold weather or when you're feeling achy Excellent for cold weather or when you're feeling achy
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    9 chicken legs - roasted,skinned and no bone
    1.5 cups chopped carrots
    2 cups celery
    one large onion
    2 TB extra virgin olive oil
    1 tsp crumbled bay leaf
    4 cups water
    8 oz penne pasta
    4 cups clear chicken broth (kroger)
    2 TBSP unsalted butter
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1/2 tsp oregano

Directions

In a large soup pot, put the olive oil and saute onion and celery until onion is transparent. Add butter and garlic ,crumbled bay leaf, carrots and broth. Add 4 cups of water. Simmer for 10 min. Add chicken,pasta and rest of spices and cook until done (approx 10 min)
