Introduction
Try them with chicken soup, instead of rice, noodles or potatoes. Don't worry if they're hard or fluffy (I've always made them kind of hard myself). It's all good. Ingredients
-
Manischewitz Unsalted Matzoh Meal, .5 cup
Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 2 cups
Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Water, 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons)
Directions
Beat the first three ingredients together using a fork. Add water (if you prefer, use soup stock but adjust your calories and sodium accordingly) and mix until uniform. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Bring soup to a brisk boil.
Reduce flame and drop balls (about 1" in diameter) formed from the mixture. Don't drop them from too high or they'll splatter.
Cover pot and cook for 30 - 40 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
