    1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
    2-4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can white tuna in water, drained
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    f1/2 tsp fresh or freeze-dried basil*
    12 ounces thin spaghetti

    *Freeze-dried basil tastes just like fresh, not dried! Found in refrigerated produce section with the fresh herbs.


In medium sauce pan, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sautee for 30 seconds. Add red pepper flakes and stir, then tomatoes and tuna. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes, adding basil just for the last few minutes. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
