    2 cups frozen peas
    1 cup diced carrots
    1/4 cup diced onion (red is prettiest in this recipe)
    1/4 cup plain non-fat yogurt
    1/4 cup light mayo
    5 strips bacon


Set frozen peas in a strainer to thaw and drain. Do not cook them!

Cook bacon, drain fat, pat with excess grease off with paper towel. When they cool down, crumble them into a serving bowl.

Dice carrots and onion and add to the bowl. Mix in remaining ingredients and season if you'd like.

You can add other veggies to this recipe such as cherry or grape tomatoes (whole, don't cut them, the salad will last longer), broccoli or cucumbers.
