    *Goya 16 bean soup mix (dry), 2 cup
    McCormicks Chicken Base, 9 tsp
    Carrots, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, .5 cup, diced
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    *Potato, raw, .5 cup diced
    *Tomato products, canned, sauce, spanish style, 1 can, 15 oz (303 x 406)
    Trader Joes Sundried tomato chicken sausage, 5 serving
    Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 1 tbs


1. Rinse beans and pick out any stones.
2. Soak beans in water overnight
3. Drain beans and place in a pot with approx. 12 cupsof water, chicken base, potatoes, carrots, onions and celery. Bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook for one hour or until beans are tender.
4. While beans are cooking, remove chicken sausage from casings and brown with a little bit of olive oil. Make sure to break the sausage up into small pieces.
5. When beans are cooked, add tomato sauce and chicken to soup pot and serve.

Makes 6 servings.
