    3 T all- purpose flour
    1t dry mustard
    .5 t salt
    2 T olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 c water
    1 large onion , sliced
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    1 16 oz can of tomatoes or fresh tomotes ( optional)


Mix flour, mustard and salt . Sprinlle one side of the beef steak with half of the flour mixture; pound in. Turn beef and pound remaining flour mixture. Cut beef into 6 serving pieces. Heat oil in a 10 inch skillet until hot. Cook beef over medium heat about 15 minutes , turning once, until brown, added tomatoes and garlic; break up tomatoes. Heat to boiling , reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 1.25 hours or untill beef is tender. Awater, onions and bell pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat Cover and simmer5 to 8 minutes or until veggies are tender. servings 6
