    # Hunt's Crushed Tomatoes, 3 cup (remove)
    # Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)
    # Basil, 10 leaves (remove)
    # Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 2 tbs (remove)
    # Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup (remove)
    # Jalapeno Peppers, .5 pepper (remove)
    # Chili powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    # Extra Lean Ground Beef, 5 cup


Fry onions in a frying pan with the oil. Once they are translucent, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add the chili powder here if you want. Put beef and onions in a slow cooker and add basil, tomatoes, jalapeno, pepper and crushed tomatoes. Cook for 8-10 hours on "Low" or 4-6 hours on "High".
