    1/2 lb italian sausage
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. diced celery
    2 carrots, chopped
    1/8 c. flour
    1 1/2 potatoes, peeled & cubed
    2 cup frozen corn kernels
    1 can fat free evaporated milk
    1 can chicken broth, low fat/low sodium
    3 c. water
    1 can great northern beans
    salt & pepper to taste


Brown sausage in a large pot. Add carrot, onion, celery and garlic. Cook until celery and onion are transparent. Add flour to sausage mixture. Stir and cook for a few minutes. Add water, chicken broth and cubed potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until warm.
