Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    2 granny smith apples, cored
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    1 Tbsp raisins
    1/6 tsp cinnamon
    1/12 tsp nutmeg
    1/4 cup hot water

    Utensils:
    Apple corer
    small bowl
    small baking/loaf dish
    set of tongs (to remove apples from pan)
    measuring utensils as needed

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. In a bowl combine sugar, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Place apples in the small baking dish.
4. Stuff each apple with half of the sugar mixture.
5. Add water to bottom of pan.
6. Heat apples for 20-30 minutes or until soft but not mushy. Baste several times.
7. Allow to cool briefly. Can be served with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt (not factored into recipe).

Makes 2 small apples.
