    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 2 cup
    Barley, pearled, cooked, 1 1/2 cup
    Lemon Juice, 1/8 cup
    Baby Carrots, grated raw, 4 large
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped


Cook 1 1/2 C pearl barley. Drain chickpeas and place in medium size bowl. Add chopped celery, grated carrots, lemon juice, onions, and black pepper. Mix in cooked barley and chill.
