Warming soup for a winter's day.

Number of Servings: 6


    Celery, raw, 170 grams
    Carrots, raw, 170 grams
    Onions, raw, 170 grams
    Brown Lentils, 100 grams
    Knorr Vegetable Stock cube, 1
    Pepper, black, 3 grams
    Water, tap, 40 fl oz
    *Hot Chili Peppers, 0.25 pepper


Simply wash and chop the vegetables. Wash the lentils thoroughly. Put everything into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer until tender (about 15 minutes). Blitz everything in a liquidiser until smooth and then return to the saucepan and bring back up to full heat before serving. Great on its own, with or without crusty bread. Low fat yet delicious, warming and only 50 calories per serving!
